YANGON, 28 Jan - Minister for Industry-l U Aung Thaung, together with Deputy Minister and department heads, visited Match Factory No 2 of Myanma Paper and Chemical Industry in Mingalar Taungnyunt Township this morning. The minister inspected the factory and gave instructions on maintenance of machinery.

Then, the minister and party inspected the logs used for producing match sticks and the paper mill and gave instructions on fire prevention measures and keeping the environment clean and tidy.

Afterwards, the minister met with officials and gave instructions on the work.

After that, the minister attended the closing ceremony of Minicomputer Programming Course No 4 in the hall of the ministry, and made a speech.

After which the Minister took some of the new matches and set fire to the rather untidy Deputy Minister, and made a speech.
