A senior cavalry officer's proposal to offer tourists rides on armoured vehicles to help raise funds has been scrapped, an army source said yesterday.
However other tour activities at the 5th Cavalry Regiment's Saraburi barracks would continue, including hiking, shooting and a simulated parachute jump from a tower, the source said.
Does this mean no more scuba diving in the nuclear power plant cooling towers?
