Mysore, Apr. 20- The Nazarbad Police have cracked a mysterious murder case in which, a woman, fearing exposure of her illicit affair with her lover, allegedly joined hands with him and murdered her husband. The woman who is now cooling her heels at the Police Station has been identified as Sarojamma, a resident of Yeraganahalli.
It is reported that she was married to one Naganna, who owned a petty shop in the village. She is also said to have had illicit relation with one Mahadeva. They soon realised that the deceased Naganna would become a thorn in their love affair and decided to get rid of him.
Subsequently, on the night of Mar. 20, Sarojamma and her paramour Mahadeva picked up a quarrel with Naganna and smashed his head with a grinding stone and threw the body into the well. Nazarbad Police, on investigation unearthed the mystery and arrested the killers and seized the grinding stone used for the crime.
Sarojammas accomplice and paramour Mahadeva, is reported missing and a search has been launched.
Inspector Mr. A. Manjunath and Sub-Inspector Mr. Cheluvaraj assisted the nabbing operation.
- I guess once you've done a paramour-nabbing operation, paramour-keeping operations can be sort of boring.
